Common questions

Where is Aan d' Oewer?

43 Oewer Street, Citrusdal, on the edge of town beside the golf course. Citrusdal is on the N7 about two hours north of Cape Town, and the turn-off is signposted from the highway.

How do I book?

Directly through their NightsBridge booking page, or by phone on 079 523 5411, or by email to bookings@aandoewer.co.za. Booking direct is usually the cheapest route, because the listing sites take a commission.

Is breakfast included?

Yes. Rates are bed and breakfast. There are no self-catering facilities, and packed lunches or picnic baskets can be arranged in advance if you are heading into the Cederberg for the day.

Is there somewhere to eat on site?

Yes — d' Oewer Cafe is on the property and serves breakfast and lunch, with a lunch special that changes daily. It is run as a separate business from the B&B and is not open every evening, so check before planning dinner there.

How many rooms are there?

Four: a family room sleeping four, a double, a twin, and a double in the main house. All are en-suite and air-conditioned.

What is nearby?

The Citrusdal golf course is directly across the way. The hot springs at The Baths are a short drive out of town, the Piekenierskloof pass and the Cederberg are on the doorstep, and the rooibos and citrus farms of the valley are all within about half an hour.
